SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (September 13, 2011) — Providien, LLC announced it has acquired a majority interest in medical device contract manufacturer Integra Biotechnical (Integra), LLC (www.integrabio.com). Integra, headquartered in Vista, CA supplies finished, sterile medical devices to leading medical device and pharmaceutical OEM’s. Integra develops, manufactures and packages finished medical devices for its medical device and pharmaceutical customers at its facilities in Tijuana, Mexico. The company employs 600 at its Tijuana facilities and is ISO 13485:2003 and 9001:2008 certified. Integra offers its customers a full range of turnkey manufacturing services including materials planning and procurement, manual and semi-automated device assembly, finished goods packaging, sterilization services management and logistics and order fulfillment.
